About us
Primary Mission
Our CanSat sets out to complete two major objectives. The first, being the one required for the competition, the primary mission, which is meant to measure the temperature and pressure for the duration of the CanSat descent. We will do this using a pressure and temperature sensor In order to ensure accurate results we will transmit data every second from our CanSat.
Secondary Mission
Our vision is to replicte and attempt to procede with a professional earth sampling missions - just like our inspirations Hasabuya 2 and Mars sample return. Our secondary mission is for our CanSat to extract a sample from the ground, once it has descended, using a drill mechanism. After collecting the sample, we will conduct chemical tests on it, with the goal to simulate tests needed to check for life on the Martian surface.
